Oksusu Cha (Corn Tea)

Sweet and Refreshing. Oksusu Cha is a beloved Korean corn tea made from dried corn kernels. It has a naturally sweet, slightly buttery flavor that Koreans enjoy year-round. Light and caffeine-free, it's the perfect everyday hydration drink.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup dried corn kernels (roasted)
  • 8 cups water

Instructions

  1. Add dried corn kernels and water to a pot.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 15–20 minutes.
  4. Strain and serve hot or chilled.

Tips

  • Combine with roasted barley for a blended Korean tea called oksusu-bori cha.
  • Naturally sweet — no sugar needed.
