Genmaicha (Brown Rice Tea)
Toasty and Unique. Genmaicha combines green tea with roasted and popped brown rice, creating a uniquely nutty, toasty flavor with a light body. Originally a tea of the common people, it's now beloved across Japan for its comforting warmth and popcorn-like aroma.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons genmaicha tea leaves
- 2 cups water (80°C / 175°F)
