Fruit Infused Ice Cubes
Ice that earns its place in the glass. Drop berries, citrus and herbs into water, freeze, and every drink gets prettier and a little more flavourful as the cubes melt. A stainless steel tray makes big cubes that last.
Ingredients
- Fresh berries, citrus slices or cucumber
- Fresh mint or basil leaves
- Filtered water or juice
Instructions
- Drop a berry, a slice of citrus or a herb leaf into each cube slot.
- Fill the tray with filtered water, leaving a little room at the top.
- Freeze until solid, about 4 hours.
- Add the cubes to water, lemonade, iced tea or a cocktail and watch the colour bloom.
Tip: Use boiled water cooled to room temperature for clearer cubes. It pushes out the trapped air that makes ice cloudy.
