Fruit Infused Ice Cubes

Ice that earns its place in the glass. Drop berries, citrus and herbs into water, freeze, and every drink gets prettier and a little more flavourful as the cubes melt. A stainless steel tray makes big cubes that last.

Ingredients

  • Fresh berries, citrus slices or cucumber
  • Fresh mint or basil leaves
  • Filtered water or juice

Instructions

  1. Drop a berry, a slice of citrus or a herb leaf into each cube slot.
  2. Fill the tray with filtered water, leaving a little room at the top.
  3. Freeze until solid, about 4 hours.
  4. Add the cubes to water, lemonade, iced tea or a cocktail and watch the colour bloom.

Tip: Use boiled water cooled to room temperature for clearer cubes. It pushes out the trapped air that makes ice cloudy.
