What materials are Cranberry Cookware products made from?
Our cookware is crafted from high-quality materials including cast iron, stainless steel, and traditional clay/ceramic. Each material is chosen for its cooking performance, durability, and health safety. All our products are free from PFOA, PFAS, and harmful coatings.
Are your products dishwasher safe?
It depends on the product. Our cast iron and clay/ceramic pieces should be hand-washed to preserve their seasoning and integrity. Our stainless steel products are generally dishwasher safe. Please refer to the care guide included with your specific product for detailed instructions.
Are Cranberry Cookware products oven safe?
Yes! Most of our cookware is oven safe. Our cast iron and clay pots can withstand high oven temperatures. Please check the product page for specific temperature ratings for each item.
Are your products compatible with induction cooktops?
Our cast iron and stainless steel products are induction compatible. Our clay and ceramic pieces are not suitable for induction cooktops but work beautifully on gas, electric, and in the oven.

What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day return window for unused items in original packaging. If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us at hello@captaincranberry.com and we will make it right immediately.
Product Care
How do I season my cast iron cookware?
To season cast iron: (1) Wash and dry thoroughly. (2) Apply a thin layer of high-smoke-point oil (such as flaxseed or vegetable oil) to all surfaces. (3) Bake upside down in the oven at 450°F / 230°C for one hour. (4) Let cool in the oven. Repeat 2–3 times for best results. Regular use and proper care will build up a beautiful natural non-stick surface over time.
How do I care for my clay / ceramic cookware?
Hand wash only with mild soap and warm water. Avoid sudden temperature changes (thermal shock). Do not soak for extended periods. Dry completely before storing. Season clay pots by soaking in water for 30 minutes before first use.
Can I use metal utensils with your cookware?
For cast iron and stainless steel, metal utensils are fine. For clay and ceramic pieces, we recommend wooden, silicone, or plastic utensils to avoid scratching the surface.
