Sun Tea (Southern Slow-Brewed Tea)
Mellow and Sun-Kissed
Sun Tea is a beloved American summer tradition — tea brewed slowly by the warmth of the sun rather than boiling water. A large glass jar filled with water and tea bags sits on the porch in direct sunlight for hours, resulting in a uniquely smooth, mellow brew without any bitterness. It's the lazy, sunny afternoon approach to making the perfect pitcher of iced tea.
