Negroni, Neat and Cold

Bitter, balanced, never watery. A negroni is built on equal parts, so dilution throws it off. Whiskey stones keep the balance exactly where the bartender intended.

Ingredients

  • 30ml gin
  • 30ml sweet vermouth
  • 30ml Campari
  • Orange slice, to garnish
  • 3 whiskey stones, frozen

Instructions

  1. Freeze your whiskey stones for at least 4 hours.
  2. Add the gin, vermouth and Campari to a short glass.
  3. Drop in the frozen stones and stir gently for 20 seconds.
  4. Garnish with a slice of orange.

Tip: Rinse and refreeze the stones between drinks so the flavours never carry over.
